What Ravenwolf doesn't tell you.

Often has it been said today, that Ravenwolf teaches there is no "one right way"-
As true as that is, she neglects one key fact, a truth which some with pain does wrack.
While "no one right way" is an honest song- what it doesn't deny is there are many ways wrong.

Yes, Silver in her naivite, or maybe her greed...
Has neglected to tell you one thing you do need...

See, within the Wiccan Forest lie many paths, too many to calculate with any maths.
Those paths, however, are not infinate...
and all not equal, though many are great.

There are paths that harm, paths that hurt, paths that salt the forest dirt-
Paths you cut through old growth trees, paths you take upon your knees...
And other paths upon which you may fall, that really are not Wiccan at all.

And worse yet still, there are paths that look...well, really great in someone's book...
Paths that harm the folk around you- paths that are often but not always new.

If you upon these paths are laid, you've already been of a fool made.
Those that teach you, guide you off, are those of whom you should not scoff.
For it is hard to look at a friend and say they head toward a bad end.
Harder still when the Wicca you love aside for a lie takes a violent shove.

Many paths there are, and no one single way, but for those whom Wicca is religion not play-
We see and we say that some paths, yes, are wrong, which isn't a particular happy song.
We sing it with pain, not a bit of glee- Wicca is not about "me, me, me, me."
So if the book you follow's author is one with whom many bother.
Find out why, ask and seek, ask the nerd, scholar or geek.
Ask the elder, the long time follower, even ask the nonsense swallower...
Then determine which path you are on really, then you've truely chosen freely.
