The Wiccan Law of Inverse Intelligence

My friend came up with this theory - I shall simply flesh it out. The Wiccan Law of Inverse Intelligence states that the number of Wiccans assembled is inversely proportional to the total IQ quotient of the assembly. In short, the more Wiccans you have, the dumber they get.

It goes something like this. You start with one reasonably intelligent Wiccan who can clearly state his beliefs. You add a second Wiccan, whose beliefs will to some degree differ from the first Wiccan's. They now come up with a new concept, one more general that will encompass both sets of belief. Add a third Wiccan, and the resulting new theory will be even more generalized. Now throw in a Bunny. Even if every other Wiccan disagrees with the Bunny, they won't say anything because that would be impinging on the Bunny's belief system. Now add a Newbie. The Newbie hears the Bunny and thinks the Bunny must be right. He's not hearing any disagreement from the non-Bunnies. So now we have two Bunnies.

Continue this process several more times, and you end up with a belief statement something along the lines of "there is something divine which might be one force or might be many forces or might be one force with many names or it might be many forces with many more names. This force exists. And somehow we access it. Oh, and it's full of love and only wants what's best for all of us except the Christians because Christians are mean."

Is that really how we want Wicca do be depicted and defined? That's not even a definition of religion. It's that of a white-lighter agnostic with an attitude. We are not agnostics. We are a religion. Religions have definitions, and you have the right to defend those definitions. Disagreements are not always a bad thing. They provide more information from which all assembled can make more informed choices.
